From M3, exit at Junction 13, signposted M27 West/Southampton Docks. Take the spur road AND NOT A33 Southampton. Continue on M27. Once you get on the M27, after 1/2 a mile to 3/4 of a mile, you will see Rownhams. Immediately get to your left, ready to take Junction 3, the M271, Southampton Dock, Old Town and Waterfront. Stay in the left hand lane as you exit and filter left on to the M271. After 1/2 a mile, the road tapers to a roundabout. Approach it in the left hand lane and turn left to Southampton (Docks and Waterfront). Once you have turned on to this slip road, you will need to indicate right and pull accross onto the Ring Road and then move to the right had side, following signs for Old Town and Waterfront for approximately 3 miles, until you see the signs directing you to turn right at the major junction. You should approach this in the left of the two right lanes, you will turn right with the IBIS, then the road swings to the left in to West Quay Road. Stay on this road and you will see the hotel on the left.
